Last night was Wednseday night. ugghhh. Grad school night. The only thing that was making it even the slightest bit bearable was knowing that I would see Lasagna Boy! I took my seat promptly at 4:50, and waited....and waited...and waited.
At 5:12 he finally walked through the door. It took all that I had in me not to let out a visible and audible sigh of relief. He walked in and right to the seat next to me. I couldn't even look at my friend sitting to my right and share in that silent yet knowing glance acknowledging his presence. So, instead I studied the papers in front of me with an intensity that I haven't mustered for grad school in years!
And wouldn't you know it...within three minutes he whipped an apple out of his bag and proceeded to eat it! And let me just put it to you this way...it has been concluded that he is a good apple eater. You can draw your own conclusions from that!
The photo below will sum up how I spent the remaining one hour and forty-two minutes of class. Last week my friend pointed out that he had a "ring." She assumed that it is a wedding ring, but after taking a closer look at it last night I'm not so convinced. Yes, it is on his left ring finger, but I don't feel that this ring on that finger necessarily indicates that he is othewise engaged. So, what do you think: wedding band or celtic pride?
